Das CHAI. bringt euch vom 24. bis 27. Februar chinesische und internationale Filme aus und über die chinesische Welt nach Leipzig und, weil es in diesem Jahr online stattfindet, auch nach ganz Deutschland. Das Chinesische Filmfestival wird vom Konfuzius-Institut Leipzig ausgerichtet und war bereits in Vor-Corona-Zeiten in der Cinémathèque Leipzig (in der naTo) zu erleben. Alle Filme können währned des Festivalzeitraums zu einem Preis von 4,50 € gestreamt werden. Außerdem gibt es einen Festivalpass mit Zugang zu allen Filmen für 15,00 €. Alle Filme werden im Original mit englischen Untertiteln gezeigt. Bei drei Lang- und drei Kurzfilmen geben euch die Filmschaffenden zusätzlich interessante Hintergrundeinblicke (Video-Q&A).

From February 24 to 27 CHAI. brings Chinese and international films from and about the Chinese world to you and therefore to Leipzig and – because it takes place online this year – also to the whole of Germany. The Chinese Film Festival is organized by Konfuzius-Institut Leipzig and was already to be experienced in the Cinémathèque Leipzig (in the naTo) in times before Covid-19. All films can be streamed at a cost of 4.50 € during the festival. Besides, a festival pass with access to all films can be purchased for 15.00 €. All films will be shown in their original versions with English subtitles. Additionally the film-makers of three feature-length and short films will provide you with interesting insights (video Q&A).
