Shuteen Erdenebaatar QuartettKonzert

Stimmungsvoll melodischer Jazz, der seine Energie aus sehnsuchtsvollen Melodien, tiefgründigen Harmonien und ausdrucksstarken Rhythmen zieht – so lässt sich die Musik des Shuteen Erdenebaatar Quartetts beschreiben. Besonders dabei ist die harmonische Verbindung improvisatorischer Freiheiten und Dynamiken des Jazz mit symphonischen Klangwelten. So entstehen die warmen Klangfarben, mit denen das Quartett seine Zuhörenden begeistert.
Der lyrisch anmutende Ausdruck des Shuteen Erdenebaatar Quartetts fußt auf den vielfältigen Erfahrungen der 1998 in der mongolischen Hauptstadt Ulaanbaatar geborenen Pianistin Shuteen Erdenebaatar. Früh kam sie dort mit klassischer Musik in Berührung, studierte klassisches Klavier und begann mit 16 Jahren ihr Bachelor-Studium in klassischer Komposition. 2018 folgte ein Doppelmasterstudium in den Fächern Jazzklavier und Jazzkomposition in München, das sie im vergangenen Jahr erfolgreich abschloss. So ist Shuteen Erdenebaatar heute eine erfolgreiche Komponistin, Dirigentin und Pianistin.
Das Quartett ist außerdem mit dem hochkarätigen Münchner Bassisten, Musikstipendiaten der Stadt München und ebenfalls Preisträger des BMW Young Artist Jazz Award 2022 Nils Kugelmann sowie dem Musikvirtuosen Valentin Renner am Schlagzeug besetzt. Der mehrfach preis- und wettbewerbsgekrönte Multiinstrumentalist Anton Mangold an Saxophon und Flöte vervollständigt das Shuteen Erdenebaatar Quartett.

Shuteen Erdenebaatar Quartett
Atmospheric melodic jazz that draws its energy from yearning melodies, profound harmonies, and expressive rhythms – this is how the music of the Shuteen Erdenebaatar Quartet can be described. What is special about it is the harmonic connection of improvisational liberties and dynamics of jazz with symphonic sound worlds. This is how the warm timbres are created with which the quartet delights its listeners.
The lyrical expression of the Shuteen Erdenebaatar Quartet is based on the diverse experiences of pianist Shuteen Erdenebaatar, who was born in 1998 in the Mongolian capital of Ulaanbaatar. She was exposed to classical music at an early age, studying classical piano and beginning her bachelor's degree in classical composition at age 16. In 2018, she started a double master's degree in jazz piano and jazz composition in Munich, which she successfully completed last year. Thus, Shuteen Erdenebaatar is now a successful composer, conductor and pianist.
The quartet also features top-class Munich bassist, music scholarship holder of the City of Munich and also winner of the BMW Young Artist Jazz Award 2022 Nils Kugelmann, as well as music virtuoso Valentin Renner on drums. The multi-instrumentalist Anton Mangold on saxophone and flute, who has won several awards and competitions, completes the Shuteen Erdenebaatar Quartet.
