Director and actress Maria Schrader’s account of how investigative journalists Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey came across one of the most notorious cases of decade-long sexualized violence in Hollywood. Gently and steadily, Kantor and Twohey worked towards bringing the scandal to light so that the institutionalized crimes and the perpetrator himself would be brought to justice. With great sensitivity, the film shows the long-lasting consequences for the female victims and the difficulty of the research for the dedicated journalists.
